- New Jersey Fire officials have deemed suspicious a fire that damaged 13 school buses at a yard in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

The blaze broke out around 12:54 a.m.inside the yard of First Student Inc. Bus company on Henderson Road. When firefighters arrived on the scene several buses were fully engulfed in flames and tires were exploding.

Several residents nearby reportedly heard a series of loud explosions and alerted authorities.

Officials say seven buses were completely destroyed in the fire and another six were severely damaged from excessive heat.
